Thursday's Thoughts...

Good evening, everyone. We are hoping that the week so far has been good, and that Simon and Oliver have made you smile.

It was another rainy day... I find sometimes that my mind wanders on these days, and I reflect on "things" more than I should.

So, I put my raincoat on, and take a walk in the forest. I find my favorite bench to sit on, and just watch, and listen. The raindrops land gently on my hood, and trickle down to my hands. I hear some rustling in the leaves beside me, and a small, grey squirrel appears, holding an acorn.

Two Robins land in the tree in front of me, and seem to be dancing. Following each others' moves in unison. A rabbit hops out of a nearby bush, and stops to ponder my presence there. I remain quiet, and still. Making sure these lovely beings know that I mean them no harm.

As I slowly get up to head home, I again marvel at the beauty of nature. I had forgotten about what brought me here, I was just happy that I came.
